Hey family how are all of you? First let me just say, wow, what a sick week?! This week I have never felt so tight in my life or legit.

But first things first, my new companion. His name is Elder Gomez from Colombia. He is ending is mission this cycle and we have really been knocking the ball out of the park this week.

The first thing he told me is that he wants to baptize every week for the last weeks of his mission. So we headed out and worked our butts off. We found great people and now have 4 baptisms set for this month. We would have had 5 but unfortunately she fell through, well actually it was her daughter who yelled at us telling us never to come back. But that’s fine, I didn’t really see a real desire to get baptized in her so we are just going to let her go. She is really old so maybe it isn’t her time yet in this life. Another man that will be baptized is gold. He was a reference from the offices and so we called him right away and asked him if he wanted to be baptized on the phone. He said yes and we went to his house to give the lessons and answers to all the questions he had and committed him to baptism. So we are so excited about him, he also loved church and cried when he was told that he could hold the priesthood. The other two baptisms we have this month are two brothers. They are sons of a less active member who we are getting back to church and she wants her sons baptized. So thats about all for right now, but we are working harder and harder to bring more lamas (souls) into the waters of baptism.

This week our president invited us to do a 40 day fast. Not of food or water but of things that might be holding us back from feeling the full true love of Christ. We started last week and I feel really great, I gave up some stuff and I can really feel the difference. It would be a good thing for us all to do.

Well that’s about it. Let me just tell ya, all this work is hard. But I love every moment of it.
